Hello
The 45 AUTO reviews that I did were shot with a Walther PPQ 45 with a polygonal 4*¼ inch barrel.
First I do forensic exam of the ammunition. Next I shoot a group while chronographing. Targets were were set at 15 yards. Chronograph is a Oehler 35P
Then one round of each ammunition brand is shot into a 55 gallon plastic barrel of water. The bullet is then recovered, photographed and then measured for expansion. In cases where the bullet fragments and loses its jacket, a weight is taken with all the recovered material and also a weight taken with just the lead core.

Data Sheet

This brand printed the tightest group of all the 45 auto brands I tested in this series and, the instrumental velocity was a little higher than advertised. Don't see that very often. Also it was the fastest non +P 45 auto 230gr brand tested. Standard Deviation was most acceptable.
Expansion was adequate and uniform, but had jacket separation with significant deformation. Recoil nominal, very pleasant to shoot.
ammoseek.com shows price range from $0.64 to $0.80 per round. Midway the highest at $0.80. Very reasonably priced ammunition.
