Hello
The 45 AUTO reviews that I did were shot with a Walther PPQ 45 with a polygonal 4**¼ inch barrel.

First I do forensic exam of the ammunition. Next I shoot a group while chronographing. Targets were were set at 15 yards. Chronograph is a Oehler 35P

Then one round of each ammunition brand is shot into a 55 gallon plastic barrel of water. The bullet is then recovered, photographed and then measured for expansion. In cases where the bullet fragments and loses its jacket, a weight is taken with all the recovered material and also a weight taken with just the lead core.

Accurate enough. Jacket separation in water. A little shy of advertised velocity.

I’ve always found Remington to be solid ammo, even in their post-2006 Freedom Group era when QC went out the window. I’ve long been a fan of the 230-gr JHP Golden Saber load.

The expansion was pretty amazing. One thing; the primers look brass colored to me, not "Nickel Colored".

Model19man;
Well ya had me go take another look, and lo and behold, there are different finishes on these primers. Must have initially looked at one of the nickel colored ones first.
