32 S&W Long S&W HE revolvers seen to be trending up in prices at least on GB. Apparently other guys are also thinking they're pretty neat and until recently, a little undervalued. It could be that I am now looking for better condition and those have always been more costly.

What are your thoughts?

I bought a mint HE made in 1915 for my girls to shoot bout 10 yrs ago paid less then 350 for it. They definatly dont sell for that now. The regulation police i got in 38 s&w was less then 5 its a first month production. again bout 5 or 6 yrs ago. Their gems maybe people cought on.

In a rare event, I got interested in the early 32s when most people didn’t know what an I frame was! I did sell off a couple to friends and family, but with surprising prescience, I’ve held on to most of them. When that recurring question, “What is the last gun you would sell?” arises, my 32 HE snub (post War transitional) comes to mind early on. It’s not the most powerful, nor the most attention grabbing, but it’s mine! 🥰

I think the I frames are pretty cool but the K32's fit my hands better.

In some respects I would have to agree, in fact I sold 2 HFTs in favor of my early post War. k22, but for EDC, the I frames (and some Js) just suit me better. My ‘50 vintage 32 HE my ‘53 Baby Chiefs Special carry well and shoot accurately, and give me assurance of being sufficiently well armed for daily carry. Now for a trip to the target range, give me that K22 and my K32 homage!

I call it I-frame infection.....or maybe infestation?
32s, 38 S&Ws, HEs, RPs and Terriers.
WB - Those are beautiful. I don't have an I frame snubbie yet, but I did win a 3" pre 31 yesterday with the box. I don't understand the Gunbroker picture file .avif and none of my forums will accept that format, so I made a PDF of the pre 31.
