Hello
The 45 AUTO reviews that I did were shot with a Walther PPQ 45 with a polygonal 4*¼ inch barrel.

First I do forensic exam of the ammunition. Next I shoot a group while chronographing. Targets were were set at 15 yards. Chronograph is a Oehler 35P

Then one round of each ammunition brand is shot into a 55 gallon plastic barrel of water. The bullet is then recovered, photographed and then measured for expansion. In cases where the bullet fragments and loses its jacket, a weight is taken with all the recovered material and also a weight taken with just the lead core.
Here is the link to all the photos of the review;

The slightly over one inch expansion of this bullet is quite amazing. Expansion was very uniform with no jacket separation. Accuracy good and recoil was a little more than most, but manageable. Outstanding performance overall.
Midway lists this for $1.26 per round.

I may get some. Thanks

RDub, impressive ammo and test. I bough a short case of Speer G2 LE 45ACP +P a couple of years ago. The hollow point is shallow, but similar to the Buffalo Bore, and filled with the Speer elastomer. Firing into water I got ~ 3/4" expansion from my RIA 1911 and Ruger American 45. The Buffalo Bore may be on my shopping list as well.

You do outstanding work sir. I'll trust the science. Keep up the good work.
