45 Shield Ammo

What's the most accurate practice ammo and most accurate self defense ammo you've experienced in your .45 Shield ?
I don't like +P ammo; too much muzzle flip and muzzle flash for my liking.

My cast bullet handloads.........Plus 230 gr JHP's hand loaded.....My Shield does good with most 45acp ammo.

I have a Shield 45 that I really love. It has 8,000 rounds through it, and I practice at 15 and 20 yards. I've found that the most accurate practice ammo is American Eagle 230g FMJ. However, Winchester Service Grade 230g FMJ is close behind in accuracy. As to self-defense ammo, I like Federal Tactical Bonded 230g JHP, but it's +P and fairly rare. The more available Federal HST 230g JHP may be similar in performance, but I can't vouch for that personally.

This. I use it for everything. My Shield is a 2.0.
