Here's one of my 3rd gens (1066, 10mm) that, lets just say the finish wasn't in the best of shape, so I completely disassembled the gun and refinished it myself.
This is the end results, a little shinny, a little brushed and a little bead blasted together and complete overhauled interior (polished all contacts surfaces) and Wolf springs and a 4506 spurred hammer.
What did you do, leave the top off of a bottle of Hoppe's Number 9 solvent? My wife can't stand the odor, I think it should be marketed as men's cologne.
That 1066 looks great. I worked in my basement workshop with the buffing wheel
