4506 mags in mid-1989

My July 1989 TDA-prefix 4506 came with one yellow follower/plastic basepad mag with the mag body marked as such. I'm not sure if that mag is original to the gun. I happen to have numerous orange follower/steel basepad mags, could these also have been correct from the factory in mid-1989 for a 4506?

My TEP prefix 4506 came with mags w. yellow followers, but anything goes with S&W.
