4506 new to me, question on manual

I bought a lnib 4506 in the original box with the tools, no manual. Would the manual be the same one that came with my CS45, which is "metal framed semi auto pistols" I need one and I want to make sure that I get the correct one. My 4506 was dated 9220 making it Aug 8 1989, and my CS45 was dated 5348 making it Dec 14 2005.

Sorry can't give a sure answer, but I'm 90% it's the same. This wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong though.

Nice find!

As far as I know, the manuals were generic to a style. Since the CS45 is much later it wouldn't be the exact same manual, of course. My 3914 came with a generic manual for Centerfire Pistols. It was printed Jun-1989, PN# 03538, which I suspect would have been included with your 4506, as it's mentioned in there too.

It's crazy, to me, how someone can buy a gun (any gun) brand new, put it away & not shoot it, then sell it twenty-five years later! I don't have that kind of self-control. I gotta shoot it now!!
