Run across a 4506 today in pretty decent shape. Prolly around 85%+. $439, but have to payb $35 transfer fee to FFL in Iowa as gun is in Wisconsin. Seems like an OK price? Opinions please.

Not a bad price. Around here they avg $500 - $550 for good condition

The last one I bought was $630, but it was in very nice condition. That is an incredibly performing .45, and I am sure you will love it.

A 4506 (No Dash) just went for $575+Tax (dealer's full asking price) here in MA. Fixed, crappy non-Novak sights but otherwise in pretty good shape. Also had Hogue grips and three magazines.

I payed $550.00 For a 98% Dash 3 R4 Adjustable Sight in the box with 3 mags, paper work and extra recoil spring. About 4 months ago and thought I got a great deal. At $439.00 I would jump on it just to have a spare.

$475 is what I paid for my S&W 457. I don't regret it one bit.

Reliable, all metal, ergonomic, double action .45? If they still made a pistol like this it would cost a lot more than $475.

You can come close to that price for an RIA 1911, and the RIA is actually a pretty decent gun, but its not half the gun the 4506 is. Any other comparable .45 pistol will be a lot more. A 4506 and 4586 are on my list now.

Just buy it!
