...s/n MSE6722, with box, at Cabelas in Fort Mill SC, in store and online! They are asking about the same $$ as several other 3rd Gen 45's they got from one single lot of guns.

At those prices, one of the more collector-minded forum members should give it a good home before it ends up as someone's truck gun, LOL.

One of the finest carry 45s made. My personal favorite handgun. And not a bad price either, considering the current stupidity in gun availability and pricing.

Somebody is gonna get a nice new 45. ;) Regards 18DAI

This morning they had a 4506, 4586TSW, the 4513TSW, and must have added the 4576. The 4506 was $629 and sold very quickly. The others were only a little more.

A 1006 which was not such a bargain, a Dan Wesson 4-barrel set... a 66-8, a 986, a Colt Trooper MKV and a Colt OM. A lot of goodies for a Cabela's these days.

I'll be across the county line in Lancaster starting tomorrow and for the next week. The problem is that I can't ahold of my inbound transfer FFL.

Why do you guys put temptations like this in front of me? ;)

I wonder if they would be willing to do a store to store transfer?

Actually, I'm not that interested in another .45 gun, even one as nice as that seems to be.

I have done it store to store. Cabelas changed their rules a bit within the last couple years, but buying from an out of state store is simple.

After you find what you want on their web site, call the store, negotiate if appropriate, pay with your credit card or Cabelas card, and they will ship to the store closest to you at no extra charge. Their background check cost is only $10.

You can also pay with a Cabelas gift cards, which is basically like cash, and does not leave a trail of a gun purchase at your credit card company.

I might pop over there early afternoon. The Fort Mill location is hit or miss in terms of pricing. I've found some killer deals there including a DAO 3914 w/ box for $350 or so.
If you go in person, or call about going in person, ask them if they have similar guns that were not put online yet (they did this morning).

Yes you can tell by looking them that they came in as a group.
I guess the same thing is going to happen to US one day!!
LOL!!
Most likely, :D

Cabelas has mostly fair prices and a few deals. Sometimes their descriptions are not very accurate. Cabela's in Allen Tx is advertising a "Smith & Wesson ~ 29-2 .44..." described as "Stainless". The rest of us just call that "Nickel", LOL. Actually looks nice in matte, and the price seems fair at $1150.

Or my, (our,) wife, (wives.) At this point and after all these years I'm absolutely sure she will out live me. I'm thinking by design and planning.

I don't have the time to actually check what the price is. I'm sure it's more than I paid for mine new when they were first offered. It was a perfect option then over my 4516. Even though they're over 25 yrs old now they are still one of the finest .45's ever. By any manufacturer. In my opinion of course.

The 4513TSW was listed for $679. I called and they transferred me to the Gun Library where I ended up in voicemail land. They have not returned my message so I'm guessing they sold it and don't want to ship it.

I called today about the 4513TSW and they still had it so I pulled the trigger on that one. Can't wait to see it when it shows up. I talked to the guy that runs the used department and he told me that they received about 30 guns from one person, all in very good condition. When I asked what else they still had, he let me know they have a 4586 listed at $599.99, a 4566 at $549.99, a 4516 at $529.99 and a 4516-1 at $549.99. They were easy to deal with but it took some time on hold.

Pete, thanks for posting this, you guys are definitely feeding my addiction. My bank account is not as happy. Now just have to find time to go shooting.

Well! They never even mentioned the 4516, that is a shooters gun and more my style :D

Someone sure liked his 45's. I always feel a little sad when I see these lots come up for sale locally. I think to myself, someone sure loved these, and I never even met him?

Model 4566 TSW

So someone jumped on the 4506 before I got my credit card out, and I hope one of the cool kids here ended up with the 4513 TSW... that left this one for me, ;)

Getting a gun from an out-of-state Cabela's may be a hassle, but once you pay the sales tax, shipping to your local store is free, and they do not charge FFL fees or extra for a background check, same as if the gun was at the local store. It look 5 working days to get it to my store. Painless compared to auction sites and FFL transfers, :)

That 4566TSW is a pretty nice "consolation prize" ;)

Congrats! We look forward to your range report. Regards 18DAI

When I was there Tuesday, they had a 4516, 4516-1, 4586, and I think a 4506. All were in nice condition, but not all of them had boxes.

Oddly, I couldn't find any ammunition, but again I wasn't that interested.

The Gun Library is way different than the one in MA. Different, as in better.
