Anyone sell or purchase a 4516-1, within the last year or so? All the threads I searches for the 4516 were several years old.

I’m toying with selling mine, to fund the purchase of another gun. It’s been a safe queen since bought, LNIB, all papers, I’m the original owner. BluE Book of Firearms currently says $650 @ 100%.

I don't think you'll have any problem selling it. I doubt it will last more than an hour or two if sell it here.

I found one with no box or accessories for $450.00, wasn't sure what to do but did make the purchase, haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet but am looking forward to to doing that. Sure would like to have one as you describe with box and all that went with it. Good luck if you decide to sell.

Thanks, yes, from what I’ve seen, $450-500 is what I’ve been seeing. I wouldn’t let it go for that, I’d rather keep it.

There’s been a -2 for sale here in the WTS/WTT section for way too long. It’s advertised ANIB for $650.00.

I’ve seen 457’s go for that much.

Magazines, there was only the original!

I saw some magazines advertised here on this forum and actually made an offer which was rejected so I went to Brownell's and found them for less than $40.00, each. They arrived in original S&W packaging so I have two extra and the original, hope the social distancing rule is relaxed soon and I am able to visit the range to give it some exercise.

Think the 45XX guns are getting crazy-spendy? Check out anything 10XX-related.

Last NOS 10XX-series factory mag (w/ white follower) that I saw, the gun show seller wanted $150.

That was for ONE NIB 9-rd mag.

Fortunately I didn't need it. I'd stocked up on Smith 10mm mags years ago, back when they were still plentiful and collecting dust, ... because as we were all told back then, the 10mm's 'a dead round.'

Even used 10XX mags are fetching north of $75, at least that I've seen.

The low price $540.00 dollars to the high price $680.00 dollars. The price tag's value is dependent on how bad the buyer is willing to make the purchase.

I bought one in February of this year. Probably 90% with box and 5 magazines. $600. It was advertised "mint" and "NIB" but wasn't. I would have been thrilled with paying $600 if it were like new but I'm still ok with paying $600 for what I got. It's a good, heavy gun and it's nice to have 5 magazines at the range. They fit my CS45 also.
