455 Smooth Bore Barrel with Threaded Choke Tube?

Hi everyone.

I picked up this barrel from a box at an estate sale because I hadn’t seen anything like it before:

The barrel is marked serial number 61439. I don’t see any sign of rifling.

I don’t have the rest of the pistol…only the barrel.

I saw an older thread discussing examples of smoothbores that others had seen in the past so I wanted to share in case it was of interest to this forum.
