Getting into my personal "unknown" here, so help me out. What is a triple lock originally chambered in .455 Webley worth? The cylinder has been shaved to allow chambering of .45 ACP. Otherwise, gun is in good condition with 85% original finish and all numbers match.

Thanks for your opinions/assistance.

Last one I saw sold for $1000. But, It was in excellent shape, excellent grips and rechambered in 45 Colt and could still shoot .455.

Wow, those fairly low prices surprise me, in a good way. I thought TLs had become the new Registered Magnums, on their way to the five figure range.

Unmolested a triple lock can be expensive, in an altered state however appealing it may be is knocking the price down seriously. All that has to be done is modify the front sight in any manner and you loose at least a quarter of its value. Even if the work done was by the mothership you loose value in some folks opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so on. As has been said many times before "They are only new once." I just know somewhere in this country there is a pristine First Model H.E. in its box laying in some old man's sock drawer.

I recently won one with the factory Bisley drift rear sight for $720 after the auction premium, but clearly the other bidders weren't quite sure what they were looking at. Even with a shaved cylinder it should have sold for more to a knowledgeable collector (I didn't even know all the details and I've been here daily since 2012). I knew just enough to realize it was original except for the cylinder and was an odd duck.
