I came across a 459 with this marking and I'm looking for info as to the possibility of it being used to test a laser or perhaps being marketed with one. I believe the 459 model was made from 1979 to 1987. There is a CAT aiming devices located overseas, but that pretty far from New Mexico!

It must have at one time (if not now) had a laser installed on it, if not in the guide rod.
Crimson Trace grips have a sticker with 'Complies with 21 CFR 1040.10' on it. Regulations.
I thought there was one in Phoenix years and years ago. Companies move and get sold.
