I don't ever see any threads regarding the 45c. Are they all as perfectly reliable as mine? Not the first misfeed or misfire or failure to eject. Even trained two of my Grandsons to shoot using it. Zero problems...one great firearm!

I have only had mine a year or so but it's been 100% perfect. I trust it with my life as a nightstand/carry gun.

Totally digging mine. I guess the 45C is not that easy to find? Or most folks have a 9mm mentality?
At any rate, here is my 45C with gold fill and a Lobo Gun Leather Enhanced Avenger (Belt by High Springs Leather).

Mine replaced my G23 on my night stand and my Colt Defender as my cold weather concealment option. Perfect size/balance, low felt-recoil, not a hiccup, eats it all, and after adding an Apex DCAEK kit, AEK trigger, and Trijicon HD's it's the most accurate handgun I've ever shot. I wish companies who make weapon accessories would add the 45 compact to their line (cough, cough, crimson trace). If I was thinner I'd wear it AIWB in the summer instead of the Shield 40 but pigs are still yet to fly. One day, S&W will create their own version of the CCO: compact frame, full size slide/barrel. Until that day I won't even consider replacing mine.

Also, it took so long to find the 45C (6 months) that I came across a Shield 40 and had enough time to order and receive a Shield 9. However, the 9 looks like they took it out of the oven before the slide was done. It's not smooth like the others and has a cheap feel to it. Also, it's sights are waaayyyy off. I thought the barrel was going to look like a banana because it was throwing so far left.

Mine is flawless.

Its getting carried less, since i have my Shied 40, but
I like it much!

I got mine back in March and I love it! It is carried about 1/2 the time while my 9c enjoys the other 1/2.

For me the "C" didnt have any advantage over the standard. really not much smaller but carried 2 less rounds. I have the full size 45

My Shield 9mm was way off left. I had to find a left hand shooter to confirm it. S&W recalibrated front and back sights and now it's Ok. attached from 7 yards.

A brass punch drifting the front sight sounds brutal compared to "recalibration"

I like everyone here love my .45c. I also bought a 10 round mag and put that extender over the mag and it feels like the full size. But, I carry with standard 8 round. I also have the 9mm shield and like it much better now that is is broken in. I initially had some problems with the slide rail sticking.
