I bought mine from Gunbroker as I have two different pistols that make use of the 12-rd double stack compact magazine. They are best known these days as the 6906 or 6904 magazine, so add those models to your search criteria.

Also know that you can use the standard 5906, 15-rd magazine in every 469/669. They hang well out of the bottom of the pistol but they work.

Also, there is a big gangly plastic collar available that is installed by swapping out the floor plate of the 15rd 5906 magazine, and using these collars "extends" the grip of your 469/669/6906.

WARNING: they look like hell and the pistol looks like hell with them in place, but often it is function over form! ;)

I'm looking at the same issue. I may have to go with the 10 round Mecgars that are currently available at a reasonable price. I would expect the quality to be good, considering they're Mecgars. For the price, $26 as opposed to $60+ factory, I suppose I can live with the reduced capacity.

12 rounders were getting scarce when sold my 469 few years ago . I had one factory mag and two 12 round aftermarket mags but none are to be found now, good luck.

I'd look at gun shows. In fact, I have bought several at gun shows over the years. The 69xx guns are kind of orphans as they weren't nearly as popular as either the 39xx compacts or the full size 59xx guns.

Gun Broker might be a source, but as I recall Ebay limits magazines to 10 rounds, so you're not going to see the standard capacity magazines there.

Oh, and check the classifieds here. A wide variety of 3rd Gen magazines show up here, but they don't hang around long.

You're right and you might get a kick out of this. Before a retired LEO friend of mine hooked me up, I was looking on EB for Sig P365 magazines. Despite the limit imposed (10 rounds), I found at least one seller offering the part number for the 12 round magazine. It was listed in a way that a serious buyer would recognize exactly what it was but "firearm fearers" trolling for "policy violations" wouldn't have a clue. :D

Are you in a 10-round limited state? Hopefully not. :o Those 10-round "Mec-Gars" are actually made by Robertson from 10-round Mec-Gar 5900-series magazines.

I'm not that keen on any of the crippled Mec-Gar magazines, even the straight-from-the-factory ones. Try before you buy if you can. No problem with any standard Mec-Gar magazines, but the weird plastic bases on their crippled magazines are not for yours truly. :o

i believe i also have some factory 12 rounders i'd be willing to sell.
if you need more than squidsix has to sell pm me and we can discuss it.

You can try Midway . They have a sale every so often and you can get some deals . I've bought from everygunpart.com , but they are used . Mine have always been in great shape , but you are buy-ing used mags . My two cents , keepshooting mags are better than other after markets .

I just bought 6 12-rounders on GB for $24 apiece. I was willing to pay up to $40 each if I had to. My mag anxiety has died down now. I tried to sell m-1 carbine mags on EBay. I was suspended for six months when I pointed out that every Tom, Dick and Harry was selling 20 and 30 round carbine mags while lying and calling them 10 round mags. Liberals are idiots. Don’t try and confuse them with facts. The exact same situation still occurs on EBay. Tell the fools what they want to hear.
A single shot Thompson Contender can be more deadly than a wonder nine:-)

I had the same quest and over did it! I have extra 12 roundres that I can part with that have been completely rebuilt with new springs, follower if need and base plate if needed. Bottom line, they are not brand new, but close to brand new.
I went from none to many, many, many.
If interested in purchasing a few, please PM me with your contact info and I will contact you.
