469 / 6906

Hey guys was just curious.Have opurtunity to either pick up a 469 with novaks on it little rough .Thinking of doing a two tone refinsh on it. Or a 6906. both will be rough the same when all is said and done.So its not about price, was just curious on opinions

I have both, and think are excellent compacts, the fact that the 469 is already fitted with Novaks is a bonus, the sights were not the best on second gens, but the 6906, having the stainless slide, would be an easier refinish....also the grip choice is limited on the third gen to factory or Hogue, which make the third gens quite thick. On the second gen, Uncle Mikes rubber panels are available that are very thin, and don't add any real width, and are very comfortable.....I guess it's really a matter of personal preference between the two, either way it's a win....
