I was mentioned in the thread that this gun was previously owned by another forum member (lonewolf, iirc) and has been pictured and discussed before. So probably NOT deja vu. : )

Roy Jinks Letter

I just received a letter from Roy on this gun. It was shipped in 1940 to a store in Maine and it had the original small pre-war rear sight and the King front sight with the normal low profile blade. Roy stated the sights were modified after the war with the Micro-type rear and a higher blade on the King front sight.
