5 pointed star stamp on yoke?

Can someone please tell me the significance, if any, of a 5 pointed star stamped on the inside face of a 686-1 yoke, located just above the part/fitting number? Thanks!

Thanks. Would that still be the case if the part number on the yoke was the same as the corresponding part numbers on the rest of the revolver such as the frame, etc?

Good question. A 686-1 that I'm selling for a buddy has the same mark.
