I’ve had a pre-27 5 screw 3.5” for years. Bought it from the marketplace here probably a decade ago. It’s been refinished and clearly carried and shot a bit. I’ve been using it for some load development and it started to have some timing issues.

I asked my local smith to take a look but other than springs and a complete clean he didn’t feel comfortable going further. After some research I contacted Glenn Custom in Phoenix and Frank said he’d take a look. I sent it off in November and he got it fixed up last week. She needed a new cylinder stop and hand. He also fixed the end shake. I paid him a more than fair price and should have it back at my FFL in a week.

I’ll throw up an update when she’s back in my hands. Here she is before the trip with my 357 Model X:

A WISE MAN once said, "It only costs a little more to go first class!" And besides that, the food/drink/service is A LOT better!!

He later added, "It costs more if you go cattle class for the first half of the trip----and then change planes!"

As an aside, one of the VERY BEST meals I've ever had ANYWHERE was on an AIR CANADA flight----first class---Beef Wellington to die for!!
