5 screw pre 27 with old ivory

Picked up an early 5 screw .357 mag. The grips are not what it left the factory with but I think they look good on it. I like the silver plate on the bottom. 83/8 inch barrel is kind of a bonus to me. I like that length for target shooting. Hope you enjoy it because I enjoy other nice unique old revolvers that you guys post! I really enjoy this forum.

Isn't that what they would call "pre war" type stocks with the arch to fit where the medallion back later filled?
Let's see the silver plate you mentioned. It's hard to argue against anything with ivory. Nice piece.

I don't know for sure but these grips were for sale at the Vegas show when I picked them up. Thank you for your post! I think they were $350. The pistol did not have its original grip with it when I found it. Larry
