Just a note- assuming everything works right after cleaning, you may want to put a dab of BLUE loctite on all the screws when reassembling. The .500 and scandium revolvers I've owned have a habit of shooting the screws loose 
500 S&W Issues.

I noticed red Loctite on the side plate screws.
I stated in an earlier post that the DA sear had a hinge pin, which is incorrect.
It can easily be removed from the hammer by sliding/wiggling it out. Just be beware of the small coil spring that's behind the sear. You can use a small screwdriver to press it toward the hammer.
Pictured is a MIM hammer from a K-frame 66 -6. Same as the X-frame's, only smaller.
