52-1

You're one lucky guy , you might want to invest in a lottery ticket . But really , I would have jumped on that if it was offered to me . I got my 52-2 from another member years ago in similar shape , it's given me more enjoyment at the range than I deserve . Use a 12 point 3/4 in socket to take the bushing off and on , but don't use a ratchet , just your hand .

Just picked up this amazing 52-1 with manual and matching original box with 2 factory mags. Serial number 5578X. May date to 64-65. Enjoy.
Congrats on getting a great gun with both box and mags.. S/N 55780 shipped June 1964 so your gun ship date should be close to that.

If you have the barrel wrench in the box, keep it there. Use the suggestion from Cherrypointmarine. No rachet or bar on the socket, just your hand. I am one of those that learned to not tighten the bushing up completely. I leave it loose by one or two notches. Good luck with your new to you pistol!
