539 and 39-2 grips interchangeable?

Pretty much what the title says. Looking for some stag grips to get for a 39-2, ran across a gorgeous set for a 539. Just wondering if they would work?

952 really looks similar but the screw holes are in slightly different locations, so no go.

Only difference in 39-2 and 2nd gens (Thanks Sevens) Models 439, 539, 639 is that some 2nd gens had a right side ambi safety lever with the right side panel relieved to clear the lever.

Slight correction Engine49guy, those 3-digit guns are 2nd Gens. All 3rd Gens used a one-piece delrin grip that was clipped and pinned in place, no screws.

To be fair, early 39 stocks varied in relief cuts for the left side decock lever and had no relief for later 2nd Gen ambi levers, I'm sure that's what you meant.
