586-1 recall question…

Does this "M" before 586 mean it was recalled and fixed?
Or is the recall "M" usually stamped elsewhere?

The "M" designates it has indeed been modified per the recall.

FWIW, all my 'M' stamped 586/686s were stamped above the model number.

I thought it might be the extraction rod, end shake, those sorts of things. I don't recall it being the trigger or timing.
