Anyone have any 586 snubbies?? I have seen a 686 snub with magna grips and it looks amazing. I'd love to see a 586 with magna grips. I can't seem to find a picture anywhere online. Please share your 586 or 686 snubs with or without magna grips. Thanks!

Here are a few. These are 586-4’s. There were a total of about 495 made. There were 2 batches, 210 made in 1993 and 285 in 1994. They came standard with combat finger grooves grips.

I don't have a 2 1/2" because you know who has them all! But I do have a 3"....also a -4. Not many of these either, maybe in the same neighborhood of around 500. These were made for RSR in I believe two batches. Mine was part of a batch of I think 204 but I would have to pull the letter out to confirm. At any rate you don't see snubbie 586's on the market much.

Too much stainless and not enough blue in this thread.

Give me a nice blued revolver any day. The snub 586 may be my favorite post-war2 S&W.

When you own 1.62% of all of the 586-4's ever made, you've practically cornered the market! :D Congratulations! Those are stunning!

Holy moly dude! Are those ALL yours????? If so that's awful impressive!! No wonder they're so hard to find, you have 35 percent of the ones made!!

What I'm really trying to see is a blued 586 with old school round butt magna grips on it. Do you have a round butt k frame with the original magnas on it? If so could you put them on one, take several pictures from different angles and post them on here?? I'm dying to see what this looks like with the magna grips. I bet it look amazing. The 686 I saw certainly did.

If I had to choose just one revolver to keep, it would probably come down to choosing between these two old beauties. Really nice handling revolvers, the 586 and 686. Took me awhile to work my way up to these two, but well worth the wait.

Very nice! You have any k frame magna grips you could out on that blued one? I'm dying to see a blued 586 snub with magnas.

I know, I hope to find one of them one day. If I had a ton of money I'd find someone and offer them enough to sell it to me, but as it is, I'm broke. I may never own the snub 586 unfortunately. One of the few bucket list guns I'll have to do without I suppose unless I get lucky and get rich all at the same time!

I'll make you a deal, if you wanna good will me one of those so I can check off one of my 4 bucket list guns, I would GLADLY accept!!!!! Just throwin that out there.

I'm not usually jealous of anyone for any reason, but you sir, have just won my envy.

What does the forum think the value of a 586-4 2 1/2" with the original combats would be?

Do you have round butt K frame magna grips you could out on yours and post them?? I'm trying so hard to find a picture of that bit am having no luck. I've seen a 686 snub with magnas and it looked unbelievable. I cannot imagine what the blued on would look like.

Won't anyone put magna grips on a 586 and post pictures please!!!! I just want to see what it looks like, and I can't seem to get anyone to do it. Please!
