My 5904 has developed an unpleasant habit which requires you guys' expert advice to correct.
It's equipped with the factory "rabbit ear" adjustable rear sights, and the notch seems to have lost its ability to "stay put". I can shift the rear sight blade one "click" to the right with finger pressure, and under recoil when I shoot it the sight blade will move itself all the way to the right.
Tightening the windage adjustment screw and re-zeroing the sight at the range resulted in the blade kicking right again after 3 shots. In 800 rounds that's the only problem I've ever had with it, and all things considered im very happy with the gun. That said, a gun which changes its own sights can be a frustrating instrument to shoot, and advice on solving this vexing problem is greatly appreciated.
