5906 question

I have a 5906 which I enjoy shooting. How big of a project/problem would it be have the magazine safety removed. I would like it to be able to fire with the mag removed. In the pistol competitions I shoot it be an easier, quicker process for ending the string, when required to unload and make clear.

Should be a spring and plunger underneath the rear sight that you have to remove (in order to disable it.)

It's as easy as removing and reinstalling the rear sight.

There are two springs and plungers under the rear sight. One is the mag safety and the other is the firing pin safety. The rear sight is frequently VERY tight and really needs a sight pusher to remove it. The sight comes off from left to right. You need to be careful not to launch the small springs as the sight moves off of them. You need to keep the FPS functional. It doesn't bother anything and will prevent tHe gun from firing unless the trigger is pulled.
