Anyone know what a fair price for a S&W 624 .44 Special with a 6.5" barrel would be in the 80 to 90 percent range?

Don't really understand an 80 to 90 percent stainless gun? Been used as a hammer or dragged down the pavement? Think we need pictures to better understand the condition rating. For the good condition used ones I usually see, with correct stocks, no box/papers where I shop I'd expect a price in the $650 to $750 range; maybe a little more. Good luck.

I guess that's what I meant. I ran into one in good condition and wanted to know if the asking price was fair. It is. Thank you for your help.

Approximately 5 years past I bought a 90% 624 with the 6.5" barrel in its original box, complete with wrapping paper, tools and paperwork. I paid at that time $700 for it. Only one I have seen at our local gun shows. With Winchester 200 grain silvertip factory ammo shoots well and recoil is like a light loaded 38. Also the box was marked with the rec C on the label which meant it passed the recall. Frank
