6.5" 627PC Barrel

School me on what options are availible to me. I am looking to build an ICORE limited revolver. Barrel MUST be avalible or produced at one time on any production S&W. Even if I have to buy 2 seperate guns to combine the parts into one 8 shot revolver with a 6.5" production barrel.

I have been told that Smith did make a few (very few) 6.5" barrels at one time that worked in the 627. Since they are no longer avalible what are my options.

Will any 6.5" N-frame barrel fit on a 627. Can I put a 6.5" 27 6shot barrel on a 627"
