Really like the look and feel of these. I know they are period incorrect for the 60-10, but they seem to be a good match for the 3".

My 60-4 wore a set of checkered J targets for a while until I found a set of imported (Thai) RB smooth combats made of a dark wood (rosewood?) and enclosing the backstrap like the targets do. The targets temporarily ended up on my 631 until I could find some Charles Daley smooth combats for it as well. Smooth is good!

I have the same j frame smooth targets. They see time between my 3 inch 60-15 and older 4 inch 63 kit gun. It's a great grip which almost gives the feeling of transforming a J frame into a jr K frame.

That is a great grip design. It works on both a square butt and a round but.

My oldest set are these checkered ones that Smith & Wesson threw in the dumpster because of the improper staining.

That is the reason I like them

Smooth J Targets on 60-10 & 60-3 DAO

Hard to beat grips for J frames with 3"+ barrels. Even have a spare set that see multiple other J's.

Happy shootin'

Fred

Proof that one man's trash is another man's treasure. I think those stocks are striking in appearance. Glad that the chief metallurgist saved them from destruction.
