I recently acquired a 610. It is supposed to be a Lew Horton 610. The only thing I see is that I thought that Lew Horton model, the serial number started with a LH. This one starts with a CCV. Any help is appreciated. I am not to concerned because I did get it at a good price. It is a matte finish with an unfluted cylinder.

The Lew Horton models are a 3" barrel on a round butt frame. They have an unfluted cylinder and came with rosewood grips. If you have the box the product code is 148120.

The LH guns were 610-2, which should be stamped on the crane.

The serial number on mine starts with CCV.

You won't find any special serial numbers for special edition guns, they carry the same serials as the production models.

However, there was a Lew Horton edition of the 610. Specific features were an unfluted cylinder and a 3 inch barrel. It probably also came with wood grips instead of rubber but I simply don't know all the specifics.

The 610 revolver, product code 148120, that was commissioned as a Lew Horton Distributor Exclusive offering back in 1999 did indeed ship with wood grips. Here is an image of mine.

If your revolver is in another configuration please let us know. If you have the box, please tell us the 6 digit product code. That is what will clearly identify the firearm.

Well, here is my Lew Horton....so there is at best only 299 of them left in original configuration.

But I do have the 3" barrel in the safe. All I need is an unfluted cylinder and it can be put back the way it was.

Thanks BobR & Colt SAA. That is what mine looks like. Also the production code is correct. I picked up a 610 and 625. Thanks for the replies.

Here is what you want to see. Have not went to pick up the 625 yet.
