I just put a Holosun green dot with circle on my 627-5 using an Allchin mount. I bought the Weig-a-tinny and then noticed the Allchin vendor, so bought it too. The Holosun mounts directly to the Allchin and looks like it sits lower on the gun, so I used it. I kept the Weig-a-tinny for perhaps another Holosun. I think I seen the green dot better than the red. I have only shot 50 rounds through it during the sighting process, but my groups were better than they have been for years.
I am not a fan of adding stuff to a gun, but this seems like it is going to necessary!
