Anyone know where i can find a video or instructions on how to completely disassemble a smith 622? (down to bare frame) I got one that needs a thorough cleaning. anyone know how to remove the extractor? looks like the pin holding it in goes in but doesn't come out?

anyone got a spare firing pin? I hear they break from dry firing (will be getting some snap caps)

You might try going to youtube and putting Smith and Wesson 422/622 into the search box. There are several assembly/disassembly videos there. Hopefully one will have what you need.
The 422 and the 622 are identical except that the 622 is stainless.

Try American Gunsmithing Institute, they have the Smith & Wesson DVD armorer's course on the generations of Smith & Wesson illustrating complete take down and assembly. Bob Dunlap also features correct smithing on a lot of parts with a stone. Very helpful to the novice interested in that kind of info.

622 is alloy frame with stainless slide. the all stainless version has a 4 digit model number. 6022? or something like that. I only found field stripping on youtube. will search again. It looks like most of the gun can be taken down if I get the tool for the barrel. I would like to know how to fully take apart the slide.
