I have run across one...excellent shape, no box, w/combats.

What's the market on this unit?

Thanks...

Mr. Emerson,
Thanks. I can buy it for $700 otd. I just thought I'd best get some more current pricing information.

I have a 624 w/4", a 24-3 snub & 24-3 w/4"...this would kinda round out the liter.

You get my e-mail?

Bob

good cylinder?

If there's no box to check that it has been screened for the potential cylinder problem you could always make the deal contingent upon an inquiry to S&W - unless you want to take a chance or otherwise know it to be in the clear.

Hey guys...thanks for the feedback. I did pick the gun up and feel the $700.00 otd price was somewhere in the market...not a steal, but I try to buy where I might be able to recover my cost and don't think this one is too far off...sometimes you just need to scratch the itch!

I'd not seen one at any show or shop so that certainly "flamed" the desire.

Here's a shot of the gun.

Again, thanks so much!!

Ken,
I do feel the "need" for the 6" guns....just haven't gone that way yet...I am really fond of the .44 Specials!

EdK,
Yes sir, I did the look-up and the sn falls outside the cylinder recall. Thanks for the head's up!

Pred,
BTW...I did a search and I must say that I am not impressed with this new site's search software...I just got tons of unrelated B.S. with nary a mention of 624s!?!?! I don't think it was my input as I tried several different methods and words for the search...if you have a suggestion for me, I'd sure appreciate it as I usually try to do a search 1st.
