Saw a 625-3 3" full lug 45 acp. No box, just rubber grips (pacmar maybe?) and 3 moon clips. $550 is the talk down from $600. Looks in good shape, no holster polish or scratches, tight, not much flame on the top strap and the throat shows no errosion. Double action seems pretty heavy but the snub like configuation could throw my preception off. Single action seemed OK, but not the best Smith I've ever felt. Is $550 a great, good or bad price? Stuff moves so much I can't keep track.

Any additional thoughts on this model would be appreciated. I've never had a 45 acp revolver. Any issues with this short of a barrel?

Thanks, this site is great.

Good price, if you're not interested, I would be. Please email me if you decide to pass.
Thanks,

That's a desirable revolver, plenty of demand for them, and $550 is an excellent price. Lighter springs do wonders for the action. I have the 3", 4" and 5". Can't decide from one day to the next which is my favorite, but my 45acp revolvers are my favorite Smiths.

Thanks to all. I did pick it up this morning as soon as they opened. I guess I was tired when I looked at it because the trigger seems better to me now. Even compared it to the others when I got it home. It's really tough to stop this habit.
