625-3 Cylinder throats etc

How do these guns run? I know the new 625s have nice tight .452 throats, did the -3 guns run loose or was that ancient history? I have heard of older Smiths running .454 to .456.

Never measured my 625-4 but judging by how she shoots, the throats are good and tight.

I have 625-2,-3,-6 and -10. They all have throats around .451.

The model 25s in 45 Colt had big throats until the 25-5, which shrank with that model. All the Mod 25 45 acps had the smaller throats, I'm told.
