After 28 years I finally made the decision to say goodbye to the "Goodyear" grips on my 625.
She got a beautifuls set of Eagles to show off in!

Nice looking grips and gun. Big 45 fan here. Some of mine wear wood some rubber. Wood looks way better and feels good in the hand until the days round count starts climbing.

I just did the same with my 3 inch 625-3 i took a set of N frame sq butt targets and put um on and with the help of a fellow forum member put in a piece of wood to fill in the gap they look great so happy with they way it turned out congrats on your new stocks

What took you so long? I have around 6 sets of stocks for my 625JM. Am liking my current choice. Installed F.O. front sight also. (easy on this model) Just remember, "WOOD is GOOD!" Your wood looks much better than rubber! Bob

Those new stocks made your 625 look really good! I much rather the look and feel of wood myself. All the Smiths in my house are dressed up with wood except for my wife's 60-15. The rubber grips on it fit her hand so well that it would be hard to find a set of wood stocks that would fit her as well and also give some recoil absorption.

This is a walnut piece made to fill the gap left by round butt frame with square butt grips. I've done three of mine. Works slick.
