I just traded for a 625-3 45ACP, anyone have one and how does it shoot?

The cylinder release isn't OEM as far as I can tell, haven't seen one like it on a factory S&W.
The PO also had a trigger job done on it and the single action pull is around 2.5lbs, just a little lite

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Love mine its a -10 beats picking up brass shoots great I also picked up some RIMZ clips enjoy

You have a highly desireable 3" 625. I have the same gun and it shoots awesome. You will be the envy of many members here. I can shoot better with my 3" than I can with my 5". If you decide to carry it, it will also make a great carry gun, if it isnt too big for your stature. Enjoy it.

WOW, it's not uncommon to see these sell for $1000. In fact, that's what I paid for mine.

Does anyone know why they seem to develop such a distinctive turn ring (although it may be my imagination). Mine has the heaviest turn ring of any of my S&W and has been shot far and away the least.

The turn ring shows more so on the satin bead blast finish than on the regular stainless finish .

FYI: That would appear to be a California Competition Works cylinder release.
