For sale is my 625-6 .45 Colt Mountain Gun. It comes with a second non fluted cylinder, which I never had in the gun. The gentleman I bought the gun from had it fitted and set up for moon clipped .45 acp, .45 Rowland and also .45 Colt. Again, I never used it and can't answer any questions about it.
He is/was a member and maybe had posted about this set up years ago.
The gun was bead blasted and an action job was done also.
Now the bad stuff.
I put a set of Herrett Ropers on this gun not long after I bought it and neglected to remove them after a really hot humid day of sweating. When I did a few weeks later, you can see the results in the last picture. To say I was was sickened and depressed is an under statement.
The Ropers do a fine job of covering the pitting but I have put them on another gun. This 625 is being sold with a set of Hogues.
There is also a small ding on the edge of one of the chambers, which was there when I got it. It does not have any effect on the function of the gun, or the fired cases.
$650.00 shipped FFL to FFL.
