625-6 w/ Ahrends Stocks - Opinions Needed

I didn't like my goodyears that came with my 619 either. I tried an altamont round to square conversion and they just didn't fit right, but looked good. I finally ordered a set of Ahrend's finger groove combat rounds and love them. They fit my hand like they were made with a mold, gives my 619 and unbelievable balance and feel, and I am more easily able to shoot well with them. I like the look of squares, but am sold on these. Although they look a little odd on longer barrels, the end of the story is that they improve handling for me and I still get some good looking wood. Handsize is important; I have smaller hands, if I had bigger hands I probably would like the squares, but I now will never put anything but these Ahrend's on round butts in the future.

For a dedicated hold, I still like non-fg stocks better - and the Ahrends Retro Targets on my 627 Pro below are great. The Miculeks, like the 625JM sports, are a faster grab - my 627 Pro sports them now.
