I am currently searching for a holster for this revolver and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on who makes a quality holster for everyday wear for defense, an outside the pants holster. Preferably not a high-ride, but a mid-ride would be nice. I am not to worried about it "being noticed" I live in an open carry state and always carry full sized handguns, usually a 681. Also wondering what anyone else carries theres in? Thank you for your help.

If you find the ideal holster for the 625, find me one for a 4" and we'll both be happy..I have been looking for a holster for this revolver for a month with no success...

I've been looking closely at Galco's Phoenix holster. It's a little high, but has a thumb-snap, is suede lined and can be used for cross-draw also.
They even have a rig for my 629 in 5" too.

Most volume manufacturers concentrate their production capacity on the most common models. Holsters for 5" revolvers can be very difficult to locate.

For general use in the field, at the range, etc, I recommend my classic Tom Threepersons-style holster which I can make for your 5" 625.

If concealment is a concern any of my pancake designs will do a good job for you.

Check out Dillon Precision. They have very nice pancake holsters for both the 4" and 5" 625 that are made by Mitch Rosen. I have used one for my 5" 625 for the last year and love it. Page 25 in the October catalog

I'm left-handed and have been looking for a year now. I hate to buy a high dollar holster without trying it on first. I'll check your website but am leary of a purchase as I have 5 holsters all over $75.00 in my closet gathering dust. It just seems I am a "hard-fit" body type.
