625-8 PC

Just got my 625-8 PC from layaway jail. Bought a set of Thailand grips during the wait.( Can be used on others I have too). Pics of both. Hopefully this weekend will be the test run on both grips.

Nice when you load the moon clips keep the smooth round side facing the cylinder if you load them the other way the stamped edge leaves a mark on the cylinder. Don't ask how I know.

I put a set of Thailand grips on my 625-8 PC. I Like them better than the originals. Mine are a little darker than yours, I think they are a good replacement at the right price. When shooting bulls eye I used the CT laser grips, works well.

I put hogue X grips on mine. Factory grips no good for shooting.
Very accurate revolver..
I will have to check my cylinder ...

Almost forgot. Must not sell a ton of these as the box tag date is 032917. Figured it would be closer to 6 months than 11. With that said, prices should reflect sales. Still happy with the deal I got.

Congrats on the new shooter. I'm sure you will be well pleased with it. I like mine a great deal. I've got two sets of Hogue grips for mine. One set is rubber and the other is kingwood with the stripe and cap, and checkered. I like the feel of the kingwood grips the best, but they are a little bulkier than I like if I and carrying. For concealed I prefer the factory grips. The Hogue rubber ones tend to catch a bit much on clothing more than I like. I hope you enjoy owning your 625 PC as much as I have mine.

I like those. I have a 5" 625-8 I'm thinking of new grips for, Who was the vendor/maker? A guy named Jaruwan seems to do a lot of good grips but I don't think he does that style (?)

I agree, I like that revolver. I never liked the tri-colored laminate grips and didn't understand the "why" they had been used for so long. "Circus Clown Shoes"...That's funny.
