I've noticed the pin attaching the front sight is walking, can I replace it with a split coil pin, afraid the sight will take flight never to be seen again.........Thanks

If you would rather not risk damage to the gun by switching the pins, a bit of Loctite on the pin would likely stop the pin from moving. De-grease before applying....remove excess after application.

Looking closer the pin must have been changed, there's a SDM gold dot sight on it
It is a DX type spring loaded plunger sight isn't it?
