I have alway got leading out my 625 sometime a lot and sometime not. I size 452. I have been told that it takes a Real hard cast bullet not to lead is this true
Maybe. Type of powder & vel have little to do with leading. It's almost always bullet fit. A slightly smaller bullet will almost always lead, regardless of vel or alloy. Get the bullet to match the cyl throats or if throats are really small, open the cyl throats to match the groove dia. Then a bullet at least 0.001" LARGER than groove dia will often give best results. Result will be better accuracy & less leading @ all vel levels, even using soft bullets.Try some trail boss if all else fails about 5.4 grains and you will have an 800 FPS target load and no leading.
