Can someone please tell me if S&W uses the six o'clock hold, cover hold, or half hold?

I'm guessing that you mean a 629, but any magnum revolver needs quite a bit of adjustment for the different POI between special/magnum loads. So the sights could be set for whatever the user preferred.
