626?

10 years ago I had a S&W 6" revolver. I seem to remember the nomenclature being a 626, but everything I read is about 686's. Am I remember wrong, or does a 626 actually exist?

The SCSW goes from M625 to M627 so I think you are having a memory lapse. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us and me to.

686 or 696 maybe. Don't think they ever made a 626, at least not that was released to the general public. Makes one wonder why they would skip a model number......or maybe someone will come along with a picture of one..
