627 38 super cylinder issues

i have a 627 in 38 super, however when i rapid fire, the firing pin does not lock in properly.

i have had a gunsmith change this and when he operates it, it functions. however when myself and someone eolse operates it you can see the firing pin not hit in the centre of the primer.

it either hits the edge of the brass or if i am clicking through the moonclip searching for the round the firing pin wont hit on the same mark on the already fired case.

hope that makes sense and any advice will be appreciated

I would look at cylinder throw by ( rapid fire) for a first place to look...

Revolver/cylinder is out of time.

Replace the cylinder stop or hand.
