627-5 Grashorns!

If you've been following my 627-5 story, you know I got it for just over $700 due to a cabela's misprint/used gun sale. (No shame here). From there it headed back to S&W for the ball detent that was missing (22 days door to door). Then it all changed. I received my Grashorn elk antler grips in the mail. Now, I thought I knew what revolver love was, but now, all I can say is: I F*#$%#* LOVE this revolver. Pics do not do these grips justice. You need to hold them in your hand to truly feel how amazing they are. Grips are incredible and fit my hand perfect. A great company to work with. I annoyed the heck out of them and they answered all my questions/concerns in a timely fashion. Attached are pics. I also have a LOBO holster coming soon. This is my favorite trail/BBQ gun.

I ordered them from Patrick Grashorn. Grashorn Gunworks, LLC. He is "Executioner" in this forum I believe? He does some amazing work. I'm sure this forum has TONS of pics of his grips. I emailed him the model I had and what I was looking for, and he emailed me a pic of 6 different pairs. No surprises with what you get, you pick exactly the grips you want. Fast shipping and great customer service. I won't order antler grips from anyone else. You are getting a genuine product for a genuine guy. I've had several offers already to buy my revovler with his grips. I wouldn't part with it now for anything. It's amazing how well they fit, especially with him not having the gun in front of him. I will buy from him again. I guess I have to go revolver shopping again now. Twist my arm...
