627 Grips

Will the Crimson trace laser grips that I bought for my 627 5 inch barrel fit a 2.75 inch 627. Thank you.

They are both N frame round butt, so the appropriate stocks/grips should fit both. That said there may be some variations if frame size such that the fit may not be perfect. My stocks from the factory are just a little proud on the 627 they shipped on.

Barrel length has nothing to do with the size of the grip frame. A M627 is a M627. I don't think there was a square butt M627 made so you should be fine.

Crimson Trace makes two styles for N frames- square and round to square. Barrel length has no bearing on frame size. Here are also two compositions, hard and rubberized. I prefer the latter for CCW. I have them on a 4" 627 and 2-5/8" 629. Well made and not too sticky.

CT no longer makes round grips for N frames. This may change with S&W in charge.
